General
The Yamaha MP CR 11A4 L cornet mouthpiece (large shank) provides a clear sound in the higher registers thanks to its cup design. This model is additionally suited for piccolo trumpet with a cornet shank.
Standard Series
Yamaha's R&D department has been busy developing unique mouthpieces for brass instruments. There are over a hundred different models available for most common brass instruments, because Yamaha knows that mouthpiece preferences are personal and varied. The Standard series contains the largest number of mouthpieces, produced with the most modern technology. While each model is unique, they all offer consistently good sound, weight and performance, and of course an attractive price tag.
