Yamaha developed the Dutot signature mouthpiece in collaboration with Pierre Dutot. The MP CR Dutot_L offers a good, high register and is made for piccolo trumpets with a cornet shank.

Pierre Dutot

The French trumpet virtuoso, Pierre Dutot, was trained at a conservatory in Paris, after which his name and fame were made thanks to many European orchestral performances. Dutot has been involved in more than 80 CDs and is an experienced juror and teacher. It's also worth mentioning that he has many students who have become successful in their own right.
