The Sire Marcus Miller V7 New Gen is a modern J-style bass with New Gen enhancements for extra playing comfort, better balance and a clearer, more direct sound. The Mercury version combines a North American alder body with a hard maple neck and an ebony fingerboard with Edgeless™ (rounded) fingerboard edges. On board you'll find the Marcus Super-J Revolution pickup set and the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp with mid/frequency control as well as a passive mode, so you can quickly switch between classic and modern.
