General
The Cort Gold A10-Cocobolo is a premium electric-acoustic western guitar, built without concessions. Everything here is about craftsmanship and tonal quality. The top is made of torrefied Adirondack spruce - an advanced heat process that makes the wood sound older and resonate more richly. This produces a mature, warm sound normally found only on vintage guitars. Combined with hand sculpted X-bracing and a traditional dovetail joint, this creates a powerful, dynamic sound that is perfect for both fingerpicking and solid percussion. Sturdy case included.
Gold A10 cocobolo: high-quality tonewood
The sound box is constructed from solid AAA cocobolo, a rare and visually impressive wood species with deep red-brown colours and an oily texture. Cocobolo is known for its complex, layered tone - with full basses, clear highs and a warm midrange. The mahogany neck with walnut bracing offers stability and is combined with an ebony fingerboard and silk-gloss finish. The manually rounded fret edges give the guitar an unprecedented smooth playing experience. Every note feels familiar, every transition smooth.
Impressive sound
When it comes to performance, the Cort Gold A10-Cocobolo is also fully equipped. The integrated Fishman Flex Blend pickup combines an undersaddle element with an internal microphone, giving you a naturally amplified sound at all times - ideal for live performances or studio recordings.
