General
The JHS Pedals AT Mini is the compact version of Andy Timmons’ much-loved signature overdrive. Under the bonnet, you’ll find the original AT V1 circuit, delivering that recognisable British-style drive: tight and punchy for rhythm, yet singing and full of detail for leads. Thanks to its mini enclosure, it fits effortlessly onto crowded pedalboards, without compromising on feel or output. The character remains open and dynamic, with minimal compression and a convincing ‘amp-like’ playing feel.
Fixed 100-watt voicing
This AT Mini is permanently set to the “100-watt” voicing: exactly the setting that Andy Timmons himself prefers to use. That means a robust, harmonically rich overdrive/distortion that feels as though you’re cranking up a British valve amp nice and loud. From robust crunch to full-bodied distortion: the Drive control lets you determine how much gain you add, whilst the amp remains responsive to your playing style and volume control. Ideal as an ‘always-on’ drive or as a solo boost with extra bite.
Simple controls, professional signal path
With four knobs, you can quickly dial in your sound. Volume controls the output level, EQ acts as a high-pass filter to take the sound from warm to bright, and Air functions as a Presence control to tailor the high end to your amplifier. Thanks to true bypass, your dry signal remains unaffected when the pedal is switched off. Connections are via 6.3 mm mono jacks, and power is supplied via an optional 9–18V DC adapter (no battery support).
