The Korg Pitchblack XS features both a true bypass and an ultra-buffer mode, meaning this quality stage tuner has been designed with signal integrity in mind and is perfect for gigging guitarists and bassists who're often forced to use long jack leads since, in buffer mode, the Pitchblack XS maintains the high frequencies that are usually lost when using longer cables. What's also pretty nifty is that the display has been integrated into the footswitch and comes with a Bright mode for maximum visibility in daylight as well as a 'just-right tuning' setting for quick, fuss-free tune-ups supported by the triangular LEDs on both sides which will start blinking as soon as you hit the right pitch.
