Every guitar player is familiar with the Big Muff by Electro Harmonix. Its little brother, the Little Big Muff, has the same assets, but has a much more compact size. Those with a limited budget can also enjoy the sound of the Big Muff!
Exactly the same?
The Little Big Muff is not exactly the same as it has a different price and a different size. The original Big Muff produces all aspects of the distortion sound, whereas the Little Big Muff will focus mainly on the Fuzz found which can be heard in 90's Grunge/Rock music, for instance.
Sustain:
With the Sustain button you can control the sustain but also the distortion effect. Please note that the distortion effect sounds more like a Fuzz that can get a bit edgier by means of the Tone button. The Tone button also provides more body. This allows you to get more out of the distortion or to add more low tones to the sound for that extra punch.
