General
The Strymon TimeLine MX is an advanced delay multi-effects pedal that combines studio-quality sound with intuitive controls for both live and studio use. Thanks to its powerful tri-core 800 MHz ARM processor, two effect engines can be used simultaneously, with a choice of serial, parallel or split routing. As well as eleven high-quality delay engines, the TimeLine MX features a completely new reverb engine, allowing you to combine delay and reverb in a single preset. The clear OLED display, extensive MIDI functionality and flexible stereo connections make this pedal suitable for virtually any professional setup.
Two effects at once and extensive sound possibilities
The TimeLine MX offers twelve high-quality effect engines: eleven delay engines and a separate reverb engine. New algorithms such as Spectral, MultiTap, Oil Can and Drum complement the familiar Strymon delay sounds. Thanks to the dual-engine architecture, you can use two effects simultaneously to create complex rhythms, wide stereo images or combined delay and reverb sounds. The built-in 5-minute stereo looper supports reverse and half-speed playback and can be placed either before or after the effects. Using the dedicated Tap Tempo footswitch, you can also easily switch to the handy one-button looper function.
Professional connections and maximum flexibility
For professional integration, the TimeLine MX features stereo inputs and outputs, an internally routable stereo effects loop, full MIDI support via DIN, TRS and USB-C, and a connection for an expression pedal or external controller. The analogue dry path ensures that the dry signal is preserved without latency, whilst you can choose between True Bypass and Buffered Bypass. Thanks to high-quality JFET input circuits, 24-bit/96 kHz audio conversion and a robust anodised aluminium housing, this pedal delivers top performance on any stage and in any studio.
