What is a B-stock product?

A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.

B-stock information

The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.

B-stock photos

The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following::

  • Photo of the brand new product
  • Photo of the B-stock product with packaging (if included) and any accessories
  • Photo showing the front of the B-stock product
  • Photo showing the back of the B-stock product
  • Photo showing any damage to the B-stock product (if applicable)

Original packaging

Packaging in good condition: undamaged (sticky tape residue may be visible)
Packaging damaged: box has dents, tears and/or holes
Packaging missing: replaced with a Bax Music box

State of product:

New: the product itself is new, but the packaging may not look new
Signs of use (no damage or scratches): smudges, fingerprints and/or dust
Scratches/damage: product has scratches and/or damage

Can I return a B-stock product?

Yes! Our 30-Day Trial Period also applies to B-stock products.

Do B-stock products come with a warranty?

Yes! Our usual Bax Music warranty also applies to most B-stock products.

General

The all-solid Furch Spectra Plus Gc-EM a stands out from first eye contact: a burst Siena Amber top with Full-Pore High Gloss Finish immediately catches the eye, combined with open-pore mahogany for the sides and back. But this electric-acoustic western guitar is not just pleasing to the eye, beneath the striking Grand Auditorium look lies a fully solid construction. This ensures a clear, balanced sound and a premium playing experience. With a solid top of A-grade Engelmann Spruce and African mahogany for the sides and back, this western guitar delivers a beautiful sound: sparkling highs, an invitingly warm middle and a tight, defined low. The Spectra Plus is a truly high-end instrument, built in the Czech Republic and made to surprise you every time!

Always the perfect action!

Each top is carefully optimised by Furch to maximise both resonance and dynamic range. The CNR System® Active combines a carbon-reinforced truss rod with automatic string height regulation, ensuring that neck and string height always remain stable, even in changing humidity. Expensive neck adjustments are thus a thing of the past and you can fully enjoy maximum playing pleasure, whether you are practising for hours or on stage.

Ready for the stage with the L.R. Baggs system

Speaking of the stage, this SPE version has the high-quality L.R. Baggs amplifier system integrated. This professional element picks up every nuance of your playing and delivers natural, dynamic amplification via the built-in preamp. Ideal for situations where a touch more sound is desired, such as on stage. Tune your sound easily with the 3-band EQ controls, so you can create your own sound anywhere. And a handy extra is the built-in tuner. The ebony fingerboard on the mahogany neck with soft V-neck profile, make playing light and comfortable. And the whole thing is finished off with D'Addario XS PhBr strings, high-quality Furch tuning machines and a perfectly tuned Black TUSQ string saddle. Supplied with a handy gig bag, the Furch Spectra Plus Gc-EM a is a complete high-end western guitar that continues to impress both acoustically and amplified!
