The Dixie Deluxe with Whyte Laydie tone ring
The Gretsch Dixie Deluxe is a luxury edition of the classic Gretsch Dixie from the 1950s. The Dixie Deluxe is equipped with a Whyte Laydie tone ring that ensures an old-fashioned, rich and exceptionally direct banjo sound, a maple body, a rugged three-piece neck and a Remo Renaissance resonant head. A good-looking classic headstock, a luxury gloss finish, tortoise shell bindings and a comfortable Vega-style armrest complete the great look of this open-back banjo.

Deze banjo heeft een prachtige warme sound, is goed te stemmen en ziet er ook nog eens prachtig uit. Ik heb deze vergeleken met de Gretsch Broadkaster Supreme banjo. Ook deze heeft een hele mooie klank. Een onmogelijke keuze tussen deze twee banjo's.
Het is net wat je smaak is, ze zijn allebei erg mooi.
Kort samengevat, een mooie betaalbare professionele banjo.
