Met deze complete starterset kun je direct beginnen met het bespelen van een 4-snarige banjo. De Gold Tone AC-4 is een lichte open-back tenorbanjo met een composiet ketel die zorgt voor een heldere, warme klank en een comfortabele speelervaring. Dankzij de 19 frets, de professionele banjovel en de stabiele halsconstructie is dit instrument zeer geschikt voor beginners die Ierse folk, jazz, dixieland of akoestische muziek willen spelen. Ik heb inmiddels al een aantal tuners versleten, maar dit is de allerbeste. Geen gedoe met knoopbatterijen die als ze aan het leeglopen zijn de helderheid behoorlijk aantasten. De accu gaat lang mee en dat wordt goed aangegeven met de kleuren groen, geel en rood. Om te kunnen opladen moet je bij mijn model wel eerst de bevestigingsclip er af halen. Geen idee of dit op den duur slijtage gaat opleveren.
Er zitten geen overbodige fratsen op. Tegenwoordig stem ik mijn klassieke gitaar met A=432 Hz. Dat is simpel in te stellen met de pijltjes naast de aan-uit-knop. En het geheugen onthoudt die stand, wat je ziet als je hem aanzet met achtereenvolgens een 4, een 3 en een 2.
Kortom een aanrader.

Op zich een even simpele als briljante uitvoering waarmee je nooit meer met die irritante knoopcel batterijtjes zou hoeven te werken. 'Zou', want helaas werkt het laden niet. Het apparaatje gaat precies één oplading mee (die er bij levering 'in zit'), en daarna kun je 'm weggooiden. Dit is echt heel zonde.

Beste tuner die ik ooit gehad heb. Was hem helaas kwijt geraakt en dus nu opnieuw gekocht. Meet snel en accuraat, ook bij zeer hoge en zeer lage tonen. De lage E van een contrabas bvb is voor veel tuners niet of maar half herkenbaar terwijl deze tuner hem instnt feilloos herkent. Ook de oplaadbare batterij is een enorm pluspunt.

Een fantastische tuner. Werkt super snel en accuraat (in mijn geval voor een basgitaar) en verslindt geen batterijen.
Een helder schermpje, dat naar mijn verwachting in alle omstandigheden goed zichtbaar zal zijn. Het schermpje is ook onder alle mogelijke hoeken te orienteren, dus zeer flexibel toepasbaar. Aanrader!

Tot dusver een prima tuner, makkelijk in gebruik en fijn dat je hem kan opladen. Echter het kortste snoertje daarvoor ooit. Die ga ik nooit gebruiken! gelukkig hebben we inmiddels wel een doos vol met oplaadsnoeren die passen.

Nog maar kort in bezit, kan daardoor niets zeggen over levensduur. Gebruik, afleesbaarheid, nauwkeurigheid zijn wat mij betreft dik in orde.
Houd zelf eigenlijk niet zo van clip-on tuners omdat ik het lelijk eruit vind zien, zo'n apparaat op je gitaar. Bij optredens in ieder geval. Maar ik las in de voorgaande review de suggestie om deze tuner aan de achterkant van de kop te plaatsen en dat werkt inderdaad heel goed. En formaat is prettig, niet te groot maar toch duidelijk genoeg.
En ik vind het fijn dat hij oplaadbaar is.
