Even though closed-back banjos are pretty loud by themselves, sometimes you need that extra bit of volume. That's why Gold Tone has the AC-6+/L Banjitar, a left-handed guitar banjo with a sliding magnetic SMP+ element, whose volume you can adjust with the volume control. This way, you will rise above any band noise. This banjitar comes with a quality Remo skin and a sturdy padded carrying case with accessory pocket.
AC-6+/L Banjitar features
The shell and resonator of this guitar banjo are made of composite. This is very sturdy, resonant and light. This gives you a clear and long sound. This also makes the banjo nice and light, allowing you to hang it around your neck for a whole show with ease. On the tensioning rim there is a small support that allows you to rest your arm without dampening the sheet.
Convenience
You tune this six-string banjo just like a standard guitar. So it is the ideal way for guitarists to get a different sound without having to learn to play a new instrument. Learning to tune this instrument is also a piece of cake: the tuning machines work just like on a guitar and the tailpiece is a Terminator, to which you simply attach the loops of your strings. Convenience is thus assured.
