To offer all wandering banjo-players a manageable instrument that's fully prepped for the road, Gold Tone offer an extra-light, short-scale 5-string. The body and resonator of the AC-Traveler have been made from composite, keeping the weight down to a mere 1.87k, the build-quality reliable and durable, and the tone and projection bright and transparent. The globe-trotting AC-Traveller comes complete with its own gig bag

Features of the Gold Tone AC-Traveller

The 11-inch coated Remo resonance head is held in place by sixteen tension rods to ensure balanced sound, while the five strings sit securely on a vintage-style no-knot tailpiece. The maple neck is topped with a blackwood fretboard decorated with position marker dots and a fitting star-shaped inlay at the fifth fret.
