Sometimes you desperately need the sound of a resonator banjo while for other songs, an open-back model would be better. In any case, there's the Gold Tone CC-50RP: a closed back banjo with a detachable resonator and a maple build for a fiercely bright and warm resonator-less sound.

The CC-50RP: Hardware

The Gold Tone model is armed with a Terminator tailpiece which comes with little hooks that you can easily attach the strings to, without having to fuss tying knots. Just like the arm rest, the banjo sports a gold finish and has been engraved to give a luxury feel. The machine heads are the Planetary kind, meaning they hide behind the headstock, again, adding to the special and professional look of the CC-50RP.
