General
This coated Emperor series bass drumhead has a warmer sound than the clear Emperors, and it's more durable as well. Thanks to the two plies of 0.178mm Mylar, this batter head has an open and warm sound. Remo's Emperor heads are well suited for use both on stage and in the studio, and thanks to their deeper sound, they're a great fit for pop, R&B and rock music.

Zeer goed vel. Mooi afgewerkt zoals altijd bij Remo. Klinkt heel goed. Ideaal voor pop/rock. Het vel heeft genoeg punch/attack en power.. Gaat ook nog eens lang mee.Naar mijn idee klinkt dit vel wat minder helder dan de clear versie, iets warmer. Tip: plak een Falam Slam of ander soort sticker (of knip een stukje uit een oud vel) waar de klopper het vel raakt. Geeft meer attack en je vel gaat veel langer mee.

Lekker vel voor de basdrum. Gaat lang mee en heeft een warme sound. Al ben ik tegenwoordig meer fan van de Fiberskyns voor kick.
