General

For some drummers, a traditional rubber kick-pad on an electronic drum kit just doesn't feel realistic enough. That's why Roland has released this KD-180L-BK! This kick pad has a slightly larger size of 18 x 7 inches and on top of that, the shell is also completely made of wood. Just like a real bass drum, the special kick pad moves the air inside the shell. This back pressure creates that realistic feel, where you also feel the energy you put in 'disappear'. The striking surface offers enough room for two beaters, so you can also use a double pedal. The kettle comes with an attractive black wrap finish and chrome-plated kettle hardware.
