Op deze manier kun je ook een klein oefensetje samenstellen, die je gemakkelijk overal mee naar toe neemt. De SPD-30 is echter ontworpen als percussiepad. Iets wat duidelijk te horen is wanneer je op de pads gaat roffelen. Zeker buzz rolls klinken verre van natuurlijk.
Je haalt er dus geen volwaardig electronisch drumstel mee in huis, maar wel een percussiepad met geweldig veel mogelijkheden en een uitstekende geluidsmodule.
