While electronic drums offer a number of advantages over acoustic kits, the fact that you normally have to play them with headphones on isn't one of them. To enjoy the sound of your electronic drum kit without headphones, you'll need a drum monitor just like Roland's PM-100.
Roland PM-100 drum monitor for V-Drums
The PM-100 has been fine-tuned for Roland's V-Drums and features a special V-Drums input, but because it's also equipped with stereo jack and mini jack line inputs, it will work with any electronic drums or percussion pads. You can also connect your computer, tablet or smartphone too, of course. The slanted design ensures the speaker aims the sound directly towards you while you're playing so you can enjoy it in all its glory.

This was an early present for my son so that he could partake in online drumming lessons with his Yamaha drum kit. He usually uses head phones, but this Roland PM100 is amazing. At low volume it brings out the different drum tones fantastically and going up through the volume, shows it could be used for professional work in the future. As at present it is only about £50 above the PM10 which online is shown to be quite inferior (our drum teacher is jealous as that is what he has)it is an absolute steal and with the kind Covid discount even better. As a family we have used Bax quite a few times before and they have come up trumps again. At the time of purchase the item was out of stock ,and they thought that it would be after the 17th April 2020 that they would even be able to send it out to us, so the fact it arrived by Royal Mail Parcel force on the 8.4.20 was amazing. Cannot fault the service or the product.

Erg fijne drummonitor met een kraakhelder geluid.
Dit was eigenlijk niet mijn eerste keuze na wat onderzoek op internet gedaan te hebben i.v.m. de prijs, maar gelukkig mocht ik deze en twee andere fysiek testen in de winkel waarbij ik erg goed ben geholpen door de medewerker. Na het uittesten was het voor mij duidelijk, deze is qua geluid veel beter dan de iets goedkopere varianten in zijn prijsklasse. Erg blij mee.
