The Electro Harmonix Bass Metaphors is a multifunctional tool that combines distortion, EQ and compression for bass guitar in a single pedal. Perfect for professional studio recordings and live use on stage!

The pedal

A familiar die-cast Electro Harmonix housing protects the electronics of the Bass Metaphors. It gives the pedal a rugged feel and makes sure it can take a hit. The six clearly visible black knobs are easy to operate, and a separate switch lets you turn the compressor on and off.

Two foot switches allow for further control: the one on the left activates the distortion, while the one on the right switches the pedal on and off.

The EHX Bass Metaphors has a single input for your bass guitar. For your output signal there’s a choice between jack and XLR. The latter is particularly useful if you want to connect the pedal directly to a mixer. Electro Harmonix has truly thought of everything!

Multi-effect/DI

The Bass Metaphors pedal serves various purposes, all essential for bass players. In addition to a delectable distortion and an EQ function, the pedal features a separate compressor, ensuring your tone stays free of unnecessary peaks.
