Any superfans of the original - the legendary vintage SVT bass amps are treated to an all-new Ampeg-stamped and American-grade valve amp head fit for a new generation. Meet the SVT-50TH Heritage Special Edition. This amplifier fires off a maximum output of 300 Watts and comes kitted out with a set of five Premium JJ 12AX7 preamp valves; a single 12AX7 valve teamed up with two Premium JJ 12AU7 valves in the drive section; and six of Ampeg's own Super Valves 6550s in the power amp. Basically, this special 50th Anniversary edition blends all the best bits of the original with all the perks of modern tech.

The Ampeg SVT-50TH: More Than Just Bass

This Ampeg head has a two-channel set up, granting bassists the power to flip between two authentic sonic profiles. The first channel taps into the sound of a 1969 Blue Line which opens up a three-band EQ section, while the second channel shapes the unmistakable Magnavox sound first heard in the seventies and comes coupled with a two-band EQ section that offers the same level of tonal flexibility. In terms of inputs, a bright and normal port is provided per channel, and around the back, you're set up with a balanced XLR output and three jack sockets for preamp out, power amp in, and slave out.
