Inside, a set of transistors is found in place of tubes, keeping the weight down to a more than reasonable 15kg. This amp gives nothing but vintage feeling tone and since it's a solid-state, push the volume as far as want and the signal remains pure, clean and distortion-fre.

The EBS Classic 500: Control Over Your Sound

The preamplifier of the EBS Classic 500 is run by transistors while a MOSFET takes care of the power amplification. It's precisely this partnership that creates the striking vintage warmth this amp is capable of. To get this solid foundation in shape, gain, drive, volume, bass and treble controls are included as well as a detailed parametric lo/high mid control. Meanwhile, 500 Watts RMS at 2 Ohms, or 440 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms are put at your disposal. This excellent example of EBS prowess is fully compatible with many of their ClassicLine Series speaker cabs and comes with a protective cover.
