Fender's new Rumble bass guitar amplifiers, including this Rumble 500, are fully re-styled on the outside and completely redesigned on the inside. The result is a magnificent vintage look - the familiar Fender Blackface-style with black vinyl and silver-coloured grille cloth - plus a sound that has gained in strength and depth. What's more, Fender reduced the weight of these amps to a minimum by applying a lightweight construction and, in this case, a class-D amplifier.

Rumble 500: 2x 10-inch and 500 Watts

The amplifier inside the Rumble 500 produces 500 Watts of power to properly drive the two 10-inch Eminence speakers and ensuring plenty of force for any live performance. The compression tweeter can be turned off or on separately, ensuring bass sounds with a noticeably clearer attack. Should you wish to add to the volume of the Rumble 500 (to break some windows across the street, for instance), you can connect an external speaker cabinet to the speaker output.

Overdrive, EQ and voicing

The Rumble pulls numerous sounds from its hat. For one, it is equipped with a renewed Overdrive circuit that lets you add rather tasty distortion sounds that can then be accurately adjusted via the Drive and Level controls and switched on or off with the optional foot switch. The Rumble 500 also equips you with a 4-band equalizer and three voicing switches that'll allow you to go from punchy to vintage or clear in no-time at all.
