The Goliath of the Rocket Bass Series, the mighty and meaty Ampeg RB-210 combo delivers 500 Watts of power via a surprisingly lightweight, classic sixties-era Ampeg styled cabinet. Loaded with a pair of 10-inch Eminence speakers and a switchable horn, this solid combo is built for touring, and fully backs up your bass sound with the unbelievable range of the newly developed Super Grit Technology (SGT) built-in overdrive. Sculpt everything from warm cleans, to rough-edged punch, and thick, ground-shaking drive.

The Rocket Bass RB-210: A Professional Set-Up

The RB-210 has been fully equipped to accommodate every possible situation. The fitted headphone output and Aux input support private home rehearsals, while the effects loop and balanced XLR DI output with ground lift ensure a professional on-stage set-up. An external footswitch (not included) can be hooked up for hands-free control over the SGT-circuit, and connections are also provided for linking up an extra external speaker cabinet.

Wrote the following about Ampeg Rocket Bass RB-210 2x 10" 500W Combo Bass Guitar Amplifier

Ik heb deze vergeleken met mijn Ampeg PF50t, een buizenversterker van Ampeg met nagenoeg dezelfde functies. Het zogenaamd SGT signaal met de Grit functie van deze rocketbass valt mij wat tegen. Maar het clean kanaal klinkt zeer goed. Verassend goed; Daar doet hij niet onder voor een buizenversterker, zeker in een bandsetting komt de versterker goed tot uiting. Met de bass op neutraal, mid vol open en treble iets terug gedraaid heb je een klassieke ampeg toon met plectrum dat met een precision bass zeer goed klinkt. 500 watt is vermogen zat. In de band had ik het volume net iets onder de helft. Het ding kan zeer luid. Ook makkelijk te vervoeren, je pakt hem zo op met 1 hand.
