General
If you practice at home, you want an amp that's not too loud but sounds good! With the Ampeg Rocket Bass 108, you get a compact and inexpensive bass amp combo that is exactly for that! Ampeg's 'Legacy' preamp, which you also find in the larger Rocket Bass models, is again present in this small amp. In addition, this smaller version features a clear 3-band EQ, various inputs and outputs and a built-in overdrive. With a modest output of 30 watts, you won't have to worry about complaining neighbours!
Handy for practising
For practising, you'll find a mini-jack auxiliary input next to the bass, midrange and treble controls. This makes it easy to connect your phone or laptop to jam along with your favourite song. And in case you want to play in complete silence, just use the built-in headphone output. On top of the Ampeg Rocket Bass 108 are two jack inputs that allow you to amplify both active and passive bass guitars with sufficient volume, without unwanted distortion. But do you want to add a rough edge? Ampeg has thought of that too: with the built-in Super Grit Technology (SGT) overdrive you give your sound just that raw edge. This makes the Ampeg Rocket Bass 108 a compact and versatile practice amp.
