General

Mini is the new maxi! After the success of the FLY 3 mini guitar amp combo, Blackstar introduced the 3-watt, 3-inch mini FLY 3 amp for bass. Its compact size means you can take it just about anywhere. It also works with your computer and MP3 player, so you can play all your favourite music. Blackstar's FLY 3 Bass Stereo Pack offers you the FLY 3 Bass with an extra 3-inch speaker, which means you can create a 2x3 stereo setup with two speakers for optimal audio dispersion. The Stereo Pack is equipped with a 6.5-volt adapter so you can enjoy listening or playing music while connected to the mains. If you're nowhere near a wall socket, though, don't worry - the FLY 3 works on batteries too.

Blackstar FLY 3 for bass: lots of features in a small package

The FLY 3 Bass has everything a bassist could possibly need. It features two channels, clean and overdrive, that are switchable via a push-button so you can get down and groove or stand up and rock out. Use the gain rotary knob to adjust the amount of distortion. Get your bass sound just the way you like it with the EQ and SUB for even more depth and ultra-low tones, respectively. To create a complete sound, the FLY 3 Bass is also equipped with a compressor. Finally, use the volume knob to adjust how loud you want to be, but bear in mind, this particular amp does not go to 11.

Handy connections

Use the MP3/line input to plug in your MP3 player over the Blackstar FLY 3 Bass. If you prefer to practise in silence, use the headphone output with speaker emulation, which also functions as a line output for recording. On the rear, you'll find a battery compartment for 6 AAs and an input for the optional 6.5-volt adapter. Last but not least, there's an RJ45 connection for the Blackstar FLY Extension CAB to set your Stereo Pack up. In conclusion, this versatile mini bass amp is suitable for any occasion!
