General

The RB3 is a 65-watt bass guitar amp combo from Laney's Richter series with a 12-inch speaker and a tweeter. The sound is easy to adjust and the 4-band EQ includes two controls for the mid tones. If you want to add external effects, you're in luck, as the RB3 has an FX loop. It's also equipped with a compressor and has a headphone socket, an aux input, and controls for volume and gain. Interestingly, it has a tiltable design which makes it ideal for monitoring purposes.

Wrote the following about Laney RB3 65W 1x12 bass guitar amp combo

Leuke bascombo voor weinig geld. Hij klinkt goed en kan hard genoeg om ruzie met de buren te krijgen. Een drummer bijhouden wordt lastiger, maar voor thuis is hij prima. Het enige dat ik graag had gehad was een aparte regeling voor hoge en lage mids voor iets meer flexibiliteit, maar de verstelbare mid frequentie regelaar is zeker niet verkeerd. De toevoeging van de tweeter is ook leuk voor extra helderheid, alleen het is jammer dat je deze niet uit kan zetten. Verder helemaal top!
