Part of the Digbeth Series, the Laney DB200-210 2x10 combo bass amp bears pure British charm, classic vintage style and more power and tonal flexibility than you can shake a stick at. While packing a humble 200 Watt output, this combo boasts consistent presence and mix-punching clarity, the bulk of which is shaped by a pair of 10 inch ceramic HH Black Label speakers, artfully rounded off by the tasty modern bite of a 1 inch LaVoce DF10 compression driver.

The Laney DB200-210: Two Channels & Flexible EQ-ing

In true Laney-style, the control panel layout is clean and focussed for fast and simple tone shaping and quick switching between two channels: Tube and FET. Dial in a broad sonic spectrum ranging from clean to overdrive before kicking in the 'see-saw' equalizing provided by the Tilt pot and really open up the potential of this meaty combo. Push the Tilt to the right to pack out your bass sound with body, or pull it back to the left for more clarity and definition. An XLR DI output has been fitted around the back, supporting consistent on-stage and studio sound, while a handy AUX input and headphone output set up this solid Digbeth Series amp for more personal home rehearsals. Solid sound wrapped up in solid British design.

Laney DB200-210 Digbeth Series 200W Combo Bass Amp

Precies waar ik naar zocht! Er zit een buizen stijl preamp en FET
transistor preamp in waar je tussen kunt schakelen. Zo heb je een lekkere gritty britse sound maar ook een mooi clean. Dus lekker veelzijdig.
De EQ sectie is een beetje onorthodox maar doet wat het moet doen naar mijn mening. Verder, met de 200watt amp en 2x10" speakers (en di-out) is deze combo perfect voor gigs en in de oefenruimte.
En al dat in het mooie Laney pakje wat we ondertussen weer gewend zijn van het merk.
