Bartolini 4-String BC Shape J Soapbar (BC4J-T), Bridge, Black

General

The Bartolini 4-String BC Shape J Soapbar (BC4J-T) offers the recognisable sound of a classic J-Bass, but in the versatile soapbar format. This pickup has been specially designed for the bridge position on 4-string electric bass guitars. Thanks to its dual inline-coil technology, this pickup delivers a warm, full-bodied tone with deep bass and solid low-mid frequencies, whilst effectively blocking external interference. The passive design ensures flexibility and works with virtually any existing electronics, whilst also delivering impressive results when paired with an active preamp. The shielded blade magnets make the pickup insensitive to string spacing and prevent unwanted noise caused by contact with the strings. With a securely sealed housing, this soapbar pickup is not only reliable on stage but also studio-ready.
