General

The Bartolini 5-String 2J Squared BC Soapbar (BC52J-B), Neck, Black combines two popular 9J passive hum-cancelling Jazz bass pickups into a single versatile quad-coil soapbar. Thanks to its compact, oval design without mounting lugs, this pickup offers a robust solution for the neck position of your 5-string bass. You’ll instantly enjoy a wide range of sounds: from a powerful, growling humbucker (in series) to a clear, precise J-bass tone (coil split), always hum-free and without unwanted noise. With its internal shielding and ceramic blade magnets, it’s ready for both the stage and the studio. Thanks to its blade construction, it works effortlessly with different string spacings and can withstand intensive playing.
