Bartolini 5-String BC Shape P Soapbar (BC5P), Black

General

The Bartolini 5-String BC Shape P Soapbar (BC5P) is designed for bassists seeking a deep and powerful P-Bass sound in the practical soapbar format. Thanks to its steel blade construction and carefully tuned magnetic field, you needn’t worry about pole alignment: every string sounds balanced and warm, whether you’re using the pickup on its own, in a set or combined with a J Soapbar. With a split coil that eliminates unwanted hum and a fully sealed black housing, the pickup is resistant to sweat and microphonic noise. In addition, internal shielding ensures interference-free operation, both on stage and in the studio. This passive pickup is at home in virtually any five-string bass and comes into its own with or without an onboard preamp.

Please note:

• Replacement pick-ups may differ slightly from the original pick-ups in terms of shape and dimensions. Adjustments may be necessary. It is recommended that you check the schematic drawings carefully.
• Screws and springs are not included.
• Due to the manufacturing process, the plastic housings of Bartolini pick-ups may show slight signs of machining or wear. Furthermore, the cable ends of some pick-ups may already be pre-terminated.
