General

With the Bartolini 5-String Original J-Bass (59J1 S/SB), you’re bringing a piece of history into your home: the classic Bartolini sound that’s loved worldwide. This set comprises separate pickups for the bridge and neck positions and is completely hum- and noise-free thanks to the split coil, blade magnets and shielding. The result? A full, clear tone with plenty of warmth, which enhances the natural character of your bass — perfect for both the stage and the studio. Thanks to the inline hum-cancelling technology, your signal remains clean even when using just one pickup. The black, epoxy-sealed housing prevents microphonic noise and makes installation easy within standard 5-string J-Bass routing.
