General

The Bartolini 5-String Original M4 Soapbar, Narrow Sensing (72M45C-B), easily takes the lead amongst the passive pickup options for your 5-string bass. This Original series soapbar is designed for the neck position, delivering deep, rich bass tones and a distinctly warm character. Thanks to its narrow sensing (max. 72 mm) and dual-coil parallel humbucking construction, you get not only bottomless lows but also a tight and clear sound without unwanted noise or distortion. The pickup is fully shielded and resistant to sweat and external influences, making it perfect for both the stage and the studio. The resonance frequency is 4.4 kHz, with ceramic blade magnets and a durable black housing.
