General

Bartolini’s Original X4 Candybar pickups are based on the legendary Original J-Bass sound, but in a sleek candybar housing designed for jazz-style basses. Thanks to the dual-inline split-coils, they are hum-cancelling and keep your lows full and clear, with that sought-after warm vintage tone. The shielding and epoxy encapsulation help to reduce noise and microphonic feedback. This set is the 5-string version and consists of a neck and bridge pickup with opposite polarity.

Please note:

  • Replacement pick-ups may differ slightly from the original pick-ups in terms of shape and dimensions. Adjustments may be necessary. It is recommended that you check the schematic drawings carefully.
  • Screws and springs are not included.
  • Due to the manufacturing process, the plastic housings of Bartolini pick-ups may show slight signs of machining or wear. Furthermore, the cable ends of some pick-ups may already be pre-terminated.
