The Ampeg Venture VB-212 4 Ohm is a portable yet serious bass guitar speaker cabinet for the gigging bassist. Thanks to its 4-ohm impedance, you can get maximum power from an Ampeg Venture head with just a single cabinet – ideal if you want a powerful single-cab setup. With two custom-voiced 12-inch Lavoce neodymium woofers, a high-frequency driver and an adjustable HF attenuator, you get not only volume but also definition and control over your highs.

Built for the stage and on the road

Despite its sturdy, roadworthy design, this VB-212 weighs just 40 lbs, making it remarkably easy to transport. The cabinet is finished in carbon fibre-style Tolex and features a modern grille, and undergoes rigorous factory acoustic power testing. That means reliable performance, show after show, without having to lug around a bulky 2x12.

Smart choices for your setup

The VB-212 4 ohm is particularly useful when paired with a single Venture head and a single cabinet, as this allows you to utilise the maximum output. If you prefer to use multiple cabinets, the standard 8-ohm Venture VB-212 may be more practical. Connections are made professionally via Neutrik speakON. And if you’d like a different look, you can optionally fit a Portaflex-style VB-212 PF Grille Assembly for a more vintage appearance (sold separately). An optional padded cover is also available.
