With the MB Classic 152 SH, Markbass releases a signature Stu Hamm bass cabinet belonging to Stu's signature MB STU AMP 1000 bass amplifier. This groundbreaking speaker cabinet consists of 2x15-inch speakers and is featherweight. If you want to move a lot of air, the choice of a 2x15 configuration is fully justified. It is the solution for playing a wide selection of styles, including pop, rock and funk. The sound is deep and warm but never loses clarity and punch. Bassists do not easily choose 15-inch speakers because of the lack of definition and limited range, but that is by no means an issue with this Classic 152 SH. The fact that Su Hamm chooses this configuration says it all! Also, the speakers feature a 1-inch compression driver with a 'custom horn'. So you can choose between a vintage 60s/70s sound when you turn the tweeter level off or, on the contrary, accentuate the range between 5 and 20 kHz for a modern 'top-end' punch when you turn it on. 800 watts of power in an enclosure weighing just 33 kg is impressive and makes transport so much easier.
