If you have a compact 200 Watt bass amp head and want a cab that keeps your rig size small, the TC Electronic BC208 is a tight 8 Ohm bass cabinet with two custom 8 inch speakers. This little growler is great for use during rehearsals and on smaller stages, can be placed vertically so it doesn't use up too much floorspace and the durable construction and sturdy metal grille mean it would have no problem surviving a 6 month tour.

I bought this to use with a Trace Elliott elf. A third the price of the elf 2x8 and easily as good. Punchy full tone and kicks ass but for me the light weight is awesome...I get bass player's back and shoulder from my fender Jazz and from lugging around big bass cabs. The elf and this cab are phenomenal - the funky recess means the head sits perfectly in it without sliding around - and I can't recommend it enough. Can I give it 6 stars?

The TC Electronic BC208 is a superb piece of kit. I had a TC Electronic BAM200 already and there is a niche/recess on the top of the cabinet which fits this particular amp. I didn't know this when I bought the cab and it's a bonus. The 2 x 8" drivers are very efficient (loud) and have an analytical to almost hi-fi sound. A fretless Precision and an upright stick sound great. One of my basses is tuned down a tone to D G C F and the cab handles this just fine. The BAM200 puts out around 130 watts into the cab's 8 ohms (200 into 4 ohms) and it's plenty loud enough. Highly recommended.

This is my first bass cab and moving from combo the sound quality is really good. I already have a TC Electronic BQ250 Head I'm really pleased with the combo and the price is amazing from bax-shop.
For a small size it can pack a decent punch and you can stack/daisy chain them. I have seen similar from Trace Elliot but it's a bit more expensive I'd recommend this if your budget is limited and it's a big step up and the beginner combo amp as regards to sound quality.

I needed to look at my equipment due to ill health I found my gear too much to hump about so I've gone for small lightweight gear the Tc Bc 208 fits the bill nicely it does well for the price I'm running a tc 500 amplifier head it's perfect for those small tight pubs where you struggle for space The only thing so far is nobody does A cab cover.the gear goes out shortly for an outdoor gig I've got every confidence in the cab to perform well

Ik heb al een BG250-208 voor min of meer huiskamerachtige doeleinden aangeschaft. Daar was ik heel tevreden over, met name de weergave van een lage B iets wat bij ander klein spul nog wel eens misgaat. Echter in repetitieverband kwam ik af en toe wat oompf tekort. Met deze 208 erbij 100% tevreden. Goedkoop en het weegt geen dr*l maar toch eerlijk geluid en nog steeds probleemloos de lage B van mijn Rikkers. Deze BC208 is een aanrader!

Semble solide, out-of-the-box, mais léger et a l'air bien cool à côté de mon canapé. Branchez et c'est parti. Punchy son 2x8 et peut facilement gérer l'ampli TC Electronic à 8ohms. Idéal pour un usage a la maison. Branché deux ensemble et à 4 ohms, vous disposez d'une mini-stack légère très facile à transporter pour les repet et beaucoup moins chère que l'unité Trace Elliot.
la seule amélioration pourrait être un speakon au lieu d'un jack 1/4.

Cab acheté il y'a 1 mois car ras le bol de trimballer des amplis lourd et franchement très étonné. Finition superbe et la définition du son et très propre. Il m'a bluffé se petit cab.je l'ai branché sur une tête tc bq250 et bim !! Ça marche vraiment bien. Des médiums bien prononcé et une basse profonde.
Je joue en orchestre de variété et dans une formation funk, je suis repiqué tout le temps donc plus besoin de plus. Super ampli
