Darkglass Kaamos Bass Guitar Distortion & Octaver Pedal

The Darkglass Ultra Series Kaamos stacks a fat sub-octave on top of a powerful distortion effect. This bass guitar pedal has been designed in collaboration with Amos Heller (bassist for Taylor Swift, Chris Beard and July for Kings), who knows exactly how important it is to have full control over the FX chain. As such, he's made sure that the Kaamos can place its built-in effects in series or parallel, depending on whether you want extra-rich saturation or extra-complex textures. Not only that, you have the option to place the FX loop in one of three different positions.

The Ultra Series Kaamos: Three Modes

The octaver and distortion can be set to run in series or parallel via the Octave Level control, while the Octave Filter is used to select the preferred octaver type: Sublime (monophonic mute-type), Sublemon (monophonic flip-type) or Subcri (polyphonic). As said, the effects loop position can also be adjusted and positioned after the octaver, after the distortion or in parallel with the signal chain. Darkglass has thoughtfully mounted an XLR Direct Out with a built-in ground lift for clean gigs and recording sessions.
