The Pure Drive offers you the essence of the multi-faceted, quality timbre provided by GRBass DUAL series buy packed into a solid stompbox housing, complete with overdrive section. This will come in real handy in situations that lack the space for a bass amplifier or when you need to practice or perform at a moment's notice. Apart from the pure, active or passive bass guitar sound you can bring about, this preamp stompbox also features the famous overdrive section with blend controls and a low-filter switch to take that bass guitar sound to a whole new level. Naturally, this preamp has been outfitted with an XLR output with ground lift.
Pure Drive: clean, clear, pure and flexible
After plugging in the Pure Drive you can easily adjust its gain for a clean, clear bass sound before you turn up the volume using the master knob. In case you need to tune your bass guitar, simply tap the mute button with your foot and use the built-in tuner for a sound that's just right. If you're still not quite satisfied with your sound, there's a 4-band equalizer for you to tinker with. The pot meters for low and high go by 'deep' and 'bright' and feature buttons to add a little extra depth or punch to the mix. The midrange can be finely tuned using two adjustable regulators. Both of these allow you to choose between frequencies.
