Professional battery chargers are a must for any business that uses a lot of batteries. This ALC 81 from Fischer Amps is one such charger. It charges batteries in a controlled manner without overcharging them. As a result, your batteries will last a lot longer. Moreover, the charger gives a notification if it detects a defective battery. Thanks to its compact size, the charger can be mounted together with the ALC 49 in one rack, creating a versatile charger. Of course, you can also mount two ALC 81s side by side.
Charging batteries in the ALC 81 is done in a clever way. The batteries are fixed in a cassette, which is then slid into one of the two compartments. In this, the batteries are charged in 2 - 4 hours. The intelligent charger knows exactly when a battery is fully charged and will then stop charging. If the batteries then stay in the charger for a long time, the charger will monitor the voltage of the batteries. This ensures you always have full batteries.
