These Vic Firth Robert Van Sice Signature mallets have a hardness of 'extra soft', making them very suitable for subtle playing on the marimba. These mallets give a warm, soft sound that lets your marimba's low registers in particular speak for themselves. The sticks are made of durable maple wood and the tip is made of wool and has an oval shape.
