These Vic Firth Signature mallets were designed in collaboration with leading US percussionist and marimba player Robert Van Sice. These mallets have a soft-hardness, generating a fairly dark timbre - without sounding muted in the process. The stick is made of maple and has a length of 43.18 centimetres (17 inches). The tip is made of wool and has an oval shape.
