AKG PT45 (Band U1, 606 - 614 MHz) wireless beltpack transmitter

General

The PT45 is a wireless beltpack transmitter from the Perception Wireless series by AKG. This series is renowned for its simplicity, solid construction, high-quality sound and very attractive price. The transmitter weighs only 60 grams and is delivered including a guitar cable. It is compatible with headsets, tie-clip and instrument microphones that are equipped with a 3-pin mini XLR connector. This version of the AKG PT45 is especially well suited for use in the United Kingdom.

PT45: practical use

In order to set up the Perception Wireless series you don't need any experience as a sound engineer. You will be able to attune the transmitter and receiver to one another in no time whatsoever. These properties make the AKG PT45 ideal as your first wireless set and well suited for small stages, churches, rehearsal spaces, club rooms and conference halls. Besides a channel switch, the beltpack provides an infinitely adjustable gain control and a noiseless on/off/mute switch. The PT45 operates for up to eight hours on a single AA battery. A handy LED indicator lights up when the batteries require replacement.

Perception Wireless and frequencies

As transmitter frequencies differ per country, the receiver is delivered in different versions for various frequency bands. This particular version of the AKG PT45 communicates with an AKG SR45 wireless receiver via frequency band U1. This frequency band is only allowed to be used in the United Kingdom.
