General

Black light is a remarkable light effect, created by a lamp that emits ultraviolet light. The lamp works the same way as any other lamp, but its glass has a special coating that only allows the ultraviolet light to pass through. This results in a violet glow that lights up white and fluorescent materials. The Omnilux G-45 can be used in a conventional E-14 screw base. This lamp produces a high light yield (40 watts) and is suited for a voltage of 230 volts.

Pour avoir essayé ces ampoules, je trouve que la lumière à ultraviolet est très faible. Il vaut mieux se pencher sur des Omnilux UV ES lamp 25W vendus également chez Bax. La puissance est plus grande.

Zelfs in een volledig donkere kamer zag ik geen reactie op deze lamp. (Ze brandde wel degelijk).
Niet geprobeerd met fluo of blacklight-inkt, maar wit papier of kledij reageerde in elk geval niet niet.
