General
The Visaton AMP 2.2 is a compact stereo amplifier module that is perfect for multimedia applications, info columns and display cases. Thanks to the robust metal housing with mounting brackets, you easily mount it in all kinds of installations. Connect directly to the line out or headphone jack of, for example, a PC sound card; the input sensitivity is smoothly controlled via the rotary knob on the unit. The amplifier delivers up to 2 x 3.3 watts (4 ohms) and is suitable for small speakers between 4 and 8 ohms. Power is supplied via 12V DC from a mains adapter (not included) or directly from the computer. Short circuits pose no problem: the AMP 2.2 is short-circuit-proof.
