Shubb capos have been seen as progressive in the US for years, but always with the same, extremely well-functioning principle. Such is the case with this capo, the C3K. This black 'Capo Noir' is made of brass, the same as is used for many wind instruments. This sturdy material keeps the capo firmly in place! For 2013, the Shubb C3K got the same roller design as the Deluxe series.

Like its siblings, the Shubb C3K is a solid capo that does its job without complicated construction. However, this C3K is specially designed for the mostly underrated guitar type: 12-string guitars. These guitars usually have a warmer sound, however, six more strings need to be pressed. In that case, this C3K is your solution! This capo is also a zog "capo noir", the black finish gives the capo a completely different look.

Out of tune for good with Shubb capo

The problem is there with many capos: when attaching the capo, the strings are stretched just a little further, resulting in an unclean sound. Not to mention the sound when the capo is removed from the guitar again! Not so with this Shubb capo, as it is equipped with a special rubber that reacts the same way as your fingertip: without tuning!
