Harvey Reid, the founder of partial capoing, had mainly an experiment in mind. However, this turned out to work well, with a number of advantages besides! So the experiments certainly worked, which is why Shubb developed this C8B; a partial capo that covers five strings and skips the low E.

Using partial capos makes many things possible. After all, playing the guitar is a matter of fast fingerwork, or as it is known in technical language: "running out of fingers". After all, humans only have five fingers on one hand, that's all we can make of them! Fortunately, there are always aids; a partial capo will open doors that would otherwise have remained closed!

Playing guitar is not that simple, as practically all guitarists will agree. To make it easier, a partial capo is also suitable.
