Ortofon's Concorde Q.Bert cartridge was designed in collaboration with one of the most legendary DJs ever, DJ Q.Bert. No wonder it's the perfect tool for turntablism, scratching and back-cueing. The Concorde Q.Bert offers excellent tracking ability and a high output voltage, and reduces damage to your vinyl. Surface noise - a problem that's common with older, worn vinyl - is limited thanks to the cartridge's subdued high end. The Q.Bert was developed for scratching, and is a great choice for music with lots of bass.

Hallo, ik heb deze alweer een hele tijd en ben er niet ontevreden over, maar om nu te zeggen dat hij uitblinkt bij het scratchen qua skippen of een bijzonder geluid, zoveel op bij een technics , vestax pdx 2000(en mk2) en de pdx 3000 mix met de j-arm , scratch hij gewoon goed, niets bijzonders. Ik blijf een concorde ook niet echt geschikt vinden en denk dat je beter afbent met de om-versie , welke je kan afstellen. Ik zou voor de shure gaan m44-7 , ook vanwege de prijs van een reserve stylus.
q-bert draait er zelf wel mee natuurlijk, maar hij draait ook native-instruments zijn mixer en soms zelfs de belabberde(welke hij van binnen heeft ge"uprade) stanton str-150,en dat zal ongetwijfeld met sponsoring te maken hebben:). Gr richard
