General
This modest version of the Pioneer club standard DJ set consists of the DJM-900NXS2 DJ mixer and two XDJ-700 digital tabletops. Its compact size makes the XDJ easy to transport without sacrificing any functionality. Just like its larger counterpart, the CDJ, the XDJ features a full-colour touchscreen and the essentials to make your performance truly unbeatable. The DJM has a double audio interface, four channels,a 3-band EQ, a comprehensive effects section and plenty of connection options.

Tuesday 13 December 2016 By LizanneExactly two months ago, Native Instruments announced that their Traktor Pro was finally compatible with the NXS2 series by Pioneer. Now, Serato DJ is following suit. That means the club standard, the DJM-900NXS2 DJ mixer with two CDJ-2000NXS2 tabletops, is compatible with the software by the three biggest DJ brands. Consider this an early Christmas present!

There was just one little thing: you could only use Pioneer's own Rekordbox with it. But now, that's all changed. The mixer is now fully compatible with Native Instrument's Traktor Scratch Pro 2, enabling seamless integration with your DVS. What's more, you can operate your tabletops via the USB-HID with Traktor Pro 2, including loops, waveforms and track info.
