If you are looking for an effective way to clean your records, look no further, for the price it's a no brainer, the only real competition to the Knosti are ultrasonic cleaners, which are in a different price bracket. The Knosti comes with everything you need , drying rack cleaning fluid and a filter for returning used cleaning fluid to a bottle ,there is nothing else you need to clean your records to a high standard. The Knosti i received from BAX contained the Gen 2 alcohol free cleaning fluid , and replaces the Gen 1 fluid which people claimed left a residue on the stylus.

This works really well. I agree with other reviews about not using the supplied cleaning fluid, it definitely leaves a residue on the records that gets onto the stylus - it takes a while to get the stylus clean. Use the Vinyl Shelter cleaning solution instead.

First class product for the money. I have tried other similarly priced 'spin' machines and they do not clean my records anywhere as near as effectively as this machine. Easy to use, gives top results. Does exactly what it says on the tin. I wish that i could give it more stars.

This thing really works. Ditch the supplied cleaning solution (it can leave gummy residues on your TT stylus) I substituted Vinyl Shelters IPA based cleaner - the results speak volumes. 10-20 revolutions each way and my old LPs came up clean, shiny and the sounded quieter, stronger with no static clicks/snaps . Old technology, tried and tested and it works.

Product doet voor dit geld wat het moet doen erg goed, nl. stoffige/vuile platen reinigen.
Het is opletten met de labels, maar zelf heb ik na 30 platen (nog) geen last gehad van natte labels. Ik doe de vloeistofcontainer dan ook iets minder vol dan aangegeven en draai de twee klemmen goed vast. Ik laat de plaat ook goed uitdruppen eer ik de klemmen terug losschroef.
Met de platenhouden is het opletten dat je de platen er voorzichtig inzet en uithaalt. Het is wel van plastic, maar kan bij onvoorzichtig gebruik toch krassen maken. De droogtijd is ook langer dan aangegeven op de fles.
Om de doorsnee (oude/stoffige) plaat grondig en antistatisch te reinigen, voldoet dit meer dan prima.
Voor collector-item die honderden of duizenden euro's waard zijn, zou ik investeren in iets anders.

Fijn ding om het vuil van je platen af te halen maaaaaaaar er zijn nadelen!: de labels raken inderdaad beschadigd omdat er altijd vloeistof ofwel in het wiel loopt ofwel bij het drogen logischerwijs langs het label loopt en wat een groot nadeel is dat de vloeistof die erbij geleverd wordt je dure naald bevuild met een vliesje dat al na 1 kant van een Lp blijft hangen dus je blijft je naald schoonmaken.

Afgaande aan de reviews wou ik dit een kans geven maar eerlijk gezegd is het een tegenvaller.
Je moet idd uitkijken voor je labels. Hoe stevig ik de klemmen ook vastdraaide toch was er product op de labels gekomen en dus beschadigingen. Ook bij het uitlekken kan er nog product op de labels komen. Gelukkig betrof het hier om test platen. Het werkt mss bij nieuwe platen maar wanneer ze echt vuil zijn is dit systeem niet afdoende. Manueel heb ik veel betere resultaten. Uitkijken ook met het platenrekje dat je de platen niet krast. Ook het drogen duurt aanzienlijk langer als de aangegeven tijd en het product teruggieten geeft ook nogal wat problemen. Ik had er meer van verwacht maar ik vermoed dat het prijsverschil tussen de cleaning toestellen er is voor een reden.
