General
Leonardo's LC-1034 is an attractively-priced 3/4-sized cello which is ideal for young learners between the ages of about 9 - 13 years old. Learning an instrument like the cello is often easier for younger players who tend to pick up all the different techniques faster than adults and having their own instrument tends to give them more motivation to play and practise too.
LC-1034
The LC-1034 is made of laminated wood which is robust and helps to keep the price of the instrument down. The tailpiece and tuning pegs are both made of rosewood with a black lacquer giving them a traditional look. A bow and a handy carrying case are both included as well.
3/4 size
It's important to choose a cello that is the right size for the player. This 3/4 model is suitable for players who have an arm length of approximately 135 - 150 cm but it may be best to consult an experienced tutor who can recommend the best size.

Wauw! Een heel mooi instrument en dan voor dàt geld. Ik ga nog beginnen met cellolessen maar ben nu al onder de indruk van het geluid van mijn instrument. Keurig verzonden en ontvangen. Vrij gemakkelijk gebruiksklaar te maken met behulp van de video bij de foto's op de website van Bax. Het is overigens wel handig om er gelijk een blokje Rosin (hars) bij te bestellen om de (bijgeleverde!) strijkstok mee te harsen, en daarna kan het beginnen!
